Badges
Our Badges, due to their complex nature, are unrecyclable and should be placed in the general waste bin. Currently, there are no alternative options for disposal.
Canvas
Canvas is considered a textile which means it is recyclable, however, many councils do not accept textiles in curbside recycling bins. There are often many other places where textile items can be recycled including stores such as H&M where textile items can be dropped off and recycled for free.
For Canvas solutions, such as Banners, with other components attached like plastic tips, you will have to remove these components prior to recycling and dispose of them separately.
Certificates
Our Certificates are all recyclable!
You can simply put any Certificates that you wish to dispose of in with other recyclable paper products.
ColorSmooth®
All ColorSmooth® solutions are recyclable.
For ColorSmooth® solutions, such as Banners, with other components attached like fringing and plastic tips, you will have to remove these components prior to recycling the ColorSmooth® Banner and dispose of them separately.
Felt
Felt is considered a textile which means it is recyclable, however, many councils do not accept textiles in curbside recycling bins. There are often many other places where textile items can be recycled including stores such as H&M where textile items can be dropped off and recycled for free.
Medals
Medals are made from recyclable metals, however, many councils do not accept larger metal items in curbside recycling bins. Therefore, Medals should be placed in the general waste bin.
Satin Ribbons
Our Satin Ribbons are made from plant-based environmentally friendly fibre.
This means that they are actually recyclable!
You can simply put any Ribbons that you wish to dispose of in with other recyclable paper products.
Satin Banners and Pennants
Our Satin Pennants and Banners are considered a textile which means they are recyclable, however, many councils do not accept textiles in curbside recycling bins. There are often many other places where textile items can be recycled including stores such as H&M where textile items can be dropped off and recycled for free.
For Satin solutions, such as Banners, with other components attached like plastic tips, you will have to remove these components prior to recycling the Banner and dispose of them separately.
SPARX™ Trophy Plaques
Our SPARX™ Trophy Plaques, due to their complex nature, are unrecyclable and should be placed in the general waste bin. Currently, there are no alternative options for disposal.
Stickers/Labels
Our Stickers/Labels are recyclable so they can be placed in your recycling bin. However, our Sticker baking paper is unrecyclable and should be placed in the general waste bin. Currently, there are no alternative options for disposal.
If Stickers/Labels are applied to an item that is also recyclable (eg. glass, paper, some plastics) then you can dispose of the entire item in the appropriate recycling bin. If they are applied to a non-recyclable product you can try peeling the label off and disposing of it in the appropriate recycling bin, while the product can be disposed of in the general waste bin.
Trophies
Our Trophies, due to their complex nature, are unrecyclable and should be placed in the general waste bin. Currently, there are no alternative options for disposal.
Please note, all information above is given in good faith. We believe that all the information is accurate; however, we cannot anticipate potential differences in the disposal of items for your locality.
